Shelby County Master Gardeners Assoc

Dear Master Gardener Enthusiast

It is hard to think about gardening next year. But guess what, registration for the 2006 Master Gardener class has begun! We'll have lots of fun learning about lawns, veggies, pruning, soils and much, much more! Classes will be held on Thursday nights at 6:00 p.m. Classes will begin on January 12th. There are 14 sessions. Classes will end in May.

Cost of the course is $85. In addition, 35 community service hours is required to become a certified Master Gardener. Fees include the Master Gardener manual, name badge (upon graduation), some refreshments and other miscellaneous items. Pre-registration is required and is limited to the first 25 paid participants. Register by contacting the office, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. We are located at 1110 Amos Road, Suite D across from Loper Commons. Classes will be taught at this same location.
